I think the bid points need re-distributed to provide points where bids are actually getting accepted. If you look at the leaderboard, say top 50, a large number of accounts are using bots, which enables them to provide flash liquidity and accumulate points, while only getting a bid accepted if 100 bids, for example, are taken at once. I understand points don’t accumulate the first few minutes of a bid, but it obviously isn’t enough. Bids that get taken away as soon as the bids above it get taken down is fine for providing liquidity, but is hacking the system as far as points go and doesn’t reward the actual users. One solution would be to provide more points to the top bids.
